Learn how to take doTERRA TerraZyme correctly for optimal digestive support, including dosage, timing, and common mistakes to avoid.
Quick answer
Take one doTERRA TerraZyme capsule with a full glass of water at the start of each meal to support healthy digestion and nutrient absorption.
Why digestive enzymes matter
Many modern diets include cooked, processed, and preservative-laden foods that may lack the natural enzymes your body needs. doTERRA TerraZyme is a whole-food enzyme supplement designed to fill that nutritional gap by providing a blend of enzymes that assist in breaking down food and promoting nutrient absorption.
How to take doTERRA TerraZyme
- Take one capsule at the start of a meal: Swallow one TerraZyme capsule with a full glass of water just before or with your first bite of food. The enzymes begin working in the stomach to break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Common mistake: taking the capsule after the meal, which reduces its effectiveness since the food has already begun digesting.
- Use consistently with each main meal: For best digestive support, take TerraZyme with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Consistency helps maintain enzyme levels and supports regular digestion. Checkpoint: if you skip a meal, skip the dose too — enzymes are only needed when food is present.
- Store in a cool, dry place: Keep the bottle away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight to preserve enzyme potency. The cap must be tightly closed after each use. Common mistake: leaving the bottle in a hot car or near the stove, which can degrade the enzymes and reduce effectiveness.
